History

Farm Solutions Trading was started by a family of farmers with a rich agricultural tradition, in Vaishali district of Bihar, a land famous for it's rich agricultural land, varied and bountiful crop harvest. In 2002, we took the first step and launched ourselves into the fresh baby corn market.

With the advantage of having an agricultural background and the expertise of the local farmers, Farm Solutions quickly established itself as a player in the fresh baby corn market. Being backward integrated we were able to utilize the synergies of growing and ensuring quality and value of the product.

With fresh baby corn being delivered as far as Mumbai from Bihar, Farm Solutions quickly came to be identified with this product and soon was known as the "baby corn" guys.

With this experience and the benefit of learning the market as we grew, we quickly realized the potential of the other products grown in this region and in fact all over India and decided to move a step up the process chain by setting up a modern food processing facility.

In 2005 this dream was realized and Farm Solutions inaugurated its first food-processing unit.

Farm Solutions is dedicated to ensuring the quality, hygiene and the purity of its products. A team of qualified professionals handles the entire process chain from selection of raw material, post-harvest management, production and quality control to finance and marketing.

A CFTRI qualified professional handles pre and post harvest management and logistics. A well-trained and experienced Food Technologist controls production and quality.

The team responsible for sales, marketing and finance has many man-years of experience in these fields and includes professionals with senior industry experience as well as international exposure and qualifications.

Due to the hard work of this team, Farm Solutions ha been able to build up a client list that includes South Asian clients like Bhutan Dairy and Dabur Foods (Nepal) and domestic clients such as Godrej Foods, Haldiram (Nagpur), ShreeGuruji (Indore & Kolkata), Mishrambhu (Benaras), Minchy’s (Shimla) and many more.
